The (purposeful) Failure of Modern Education
You know that feeling you got in middle school and college that you would never be using Trigonometry as an adult and why were they forcing it down your throat? Well, unless you happen to be an Engineer, you and the rest of us were right.
Plato invented the school system, as we know it, over 2000 years ago, but don't blame him, he also hated Textbooks and said that was no way for a person to learn. Before I go on, here is a brief list of Subjects that every citizen NEEDS TO KNOW in order to be a successful adult, but are never even addressed in School.
1. How to File Your Taxes
2. How to manage your Credit Report and how Credit works
3. How does Medical Insurance work
4. How to respond to a Police Officer and what your "Rights" are
5. How to deal with the Court System, whether it involves Jury Duty, a Traffic Ticket, Suing
Someone/Being Sued, Criminal Case, etc.
6. How Food Works, what is healthy vs what is not, how much carbs/protein/vitamins/amino acids any given person needs.
7. How Social Security and Welfare work
8. How to write a Resume and get a job
9. How to manage your money, including Budgeting, Savings Accounts, the Stock Market, Bonds, 401k and Pension Accounts, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Derivatives, National Debt, Global
Trade, Worker Unions, Inflation, etc. This is particularly important since most people's lives are
centered on this one factor.
10. How Corporations work, how and why you would want your own and how to make one.
11. What are Intelligence Agencies and how do they affect world politics?
At this point some people will argue that several of these are taught, in specific College Courses, but I am of the opinion that these are very basic subjects and should be covered in High School, instead of Paul Revere and "The Red Coats are Coming!" Even when some of these are covered in College (as "Corporations are somewhat covered in Sociology") they are not part of the main Curriculum.
This all seems like very common sense stuff, but to this day we are still having heated battles over "Sex Education" and so-called "Drug Education" in school, which to me seems like perfect PROPAGANDA to keep us from concentrating on these other topics which are also important.
I do not know about you but my "Drug Education" classes taught me nothing much except "These people are bullshitting me! Why are they bullshitting me?!"
And my "Sex Education" taught me nothing about sex either. Lucky for me I discovered the book "The Joy of Sex" quite young and I found that most informative. Later in life I would discover Dr. Wilhelm Reich, distinguished as one of the very few Authors to have had his books PUBLICLY BURNED IN THE STREETS OF AMERICA. Why? Because he writes about sex, of course. Or perhaps it's because he writes about "Fascism," who knows?

We are still left with the question of "Why teach algebra to all when 98% of the students will never use it again?" I think the answer to this is very sad, but inescapable:
School is not meant to teach everyone what they need to know to be a successful adult. School is meant to find out who is good at what, so that "they" can recruit those very few elite Math and Biology Geniuses they need to keep their "Machine" and their "One World Government" plan going.
All the rest of the kids can go to Hell for all they care. The Illuminati has carefully designed the curriculum and forced "Testing" of our children so that they can hand-pick the ones that are useful to them and simply discard the rest.
